Boycott or not – that is the question to be answered tomorrow. It is a questions that involves many parties, a question of great geostrategic importance, a questions that is not just on nuclear ressources. The Iran is a big country in many ways. It has the greatest gas reserves in the world, it is a heavy weight in terms of fighting the IS, and it has a great geopolitical impact not only on the Caspian region, but on the balance of powers betweeen the US, Russia, and Europe. And not to forget: the IS. For Europe, Iran could offer a new source of energy, especially gas.
If the boycott will stay, Iran will increase its importance in the region and will become a regional player. If the boycott will be dropped, Iran will become a global player in the gas market. Consequences would likely be seen around the globe.
